Waterproofing....

In Australia waterproofing is supposed to sit under the tiles and can really only be done as per the building code if all the tiles are removed then the waterproofing is done over the whole floor and part walls and then the bathroom is re-tiled. Anyone with a waterproofing licence...like myself shouldn't issue a waterproofing certificate if it's not done this way...and basically this means a full bathroom renovation.

A lot of the bathrooms we have resurfaced have been leaking and to date after we have finished none of them are leaking anymore, and this is because of how we do our work and the process we go through and the products we use.

I still can't say we are waterproofing the bathroom and I still can't give you a waterproofing certificate but I can tell you that after we have epoxy grouted and then primed and then rolled at least 2 full coats to the wall tiles and 3 coats to the floor tiles sealing the tiles and the grout lines with our waterproof epoxy made for bathrooms and wet areas there is no water going through your tiles and grout lines.
